Aunt Lucille's Sausage Loaf |

Serves 4
1-1 1/2 lbs Italian Sausage 1 cup bread crumbs 1/2 cup parmesan cheese 1 lbs. dry parsley or 1/2 cup fresh 1/8 tsp. black pepper 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine 2 eggs, beated 1/2 cup milk 1 can Pastorelli Pizza Sauce, 8oz
Remove casing from sausages. Add bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, pepper and garlic and mix well. Combined eggs and milk, and mix into meat lightly. Press into pyrex loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, slowly basting top of sausage loaf with Pastorelli Pizza Sauce, a half can at a time. Can also be shaped into a football if desired, instead of a loaf. |
